The Crossbow team helped the world's largest dog daycare franchise generate immediate international media coverage on a limited budget.
The Challenge: This booming franchise company hired Crossbow to develop an international marketing and media relations plan that would help bolster awareness and support at the corporate and franchise levels. Despite the need for strategic and comprehensive marketing and media plans, the company had immediate needs and opportunities to generate media placements across North America. These fleeting media opportunities could not be ignored even though marketing strategies were still in development.
The Solution: While developing strategic assessments and plans, Crossbow also began developing basic media relations materials and numerous media releases for corporate and franchisees. Within a week of being hired, Crossbow had a rough marketing plan in place to guide the media relations campaign. During this same time, Crossbow also developed a solid media kit and began pitching story opportunities at the corporate and local levels.
The Result: Within two weeks of being hired, and before the contract was signed, Crossbow generated numerous media placements, including a story that made the front page of the business section in the Boulder Camera. In the following three months, we generated more than 20 media placements across North America, including the Calgary Herald, Halifax News, Franchise Times, Canadian Business Franchise News, Bergen County Record, Asbury Park Press, Sacramento Bee, Denver Business Journal, Denver Post, Rocky Mountain News, Pittsburgh Tribune, Boulder County Business Report, KMGH-TV, and others.
